Description

The Possehl Foundation supports associations and non-profit institutions based in Lübeck that contribute to the personal development and interest formation of children and adolescents through creative projects, educational initiatives, or sports programs. A wide range of measures are funded, from talent development groups and trial training sessions to cultural workshops, providing young people with space for self-expression and community engagement. By providing financial grants, the foundation strengthens local youth support and helps Lübeck organizations to implement attractive offers for their youth work in the long term.

As a continuously open funding instrument, applications can be submitted at any time via the Possehl Foundation’s online funding portal. To be included in the next meeting of the working committee, documents must be submitted no later than three weeks before the respective date. Eligible for funding are exclusively registered associations or other non-profit organizations based in Lübeck that are specifically active in the field of child and youth support. The maximum funding amount is based on the individual financial needs of the project and is granted as a one-time subsidy. A detailed project outline, a financial plan, and proof of non-profit status are part of the application. After successful review, the funding decision is usually made by the foundation’s board within two to three months. Interested organizations can find all necessary information on requirements, deadlines, and procedures in the funding portal to optimally prepare their application.
