Diversity: Club Anniversaries

The municipal funding initiative “Diversity: Club Anniversaries” supports culture and diversity clubs based in Carinthia, Villach, in their significant anniversary celebrations. On the occasion of the 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th, 100th, or every subsequent 25th anniversary of the club’s existence, financial grants are awarded to appropriately showcase club activities, cultural programs, and diversity initiatives in public spaces. The grants are based on the number of members, the scope of impact, and the artistic quality of the planned events. Since its inception on 15.03.2022, ongoing funding opportunities exist without time limitation, allowing club sections to plan their anniversaries flexibly according to their own schedule and implement them in a resource-efficient manner.

Eligibility for application requires the legal capacity of the club, demonstrated by registration in the club register with a ZVR number or – for legal entities – registration in the commercial register including a current commercial register excerpt (not older than three months). Selection criteria particularly include the number of members, the degree of impact, and the quality of the artistic performance. Eligible interest groups are legally registered clubs with headquarters or branches in the city of Villach that wish to honor their anniversary and associated cultural or diversity-related projects. Digital applications can be submitted at any time using the specialized application forms for the areas of women, integration, and youth. After approval of funding, a timely proof of use must be submitted to transparently document the use of funds. This subsidy offers clubs an attractive opportunity to celebrate their long-standing tradition and sustainably strengthen their commitment to cohesion and cultural diversity.
