Funding objective
The program supports private law legal entities and public universities in Saxony-Anhalt with funds from ESF+ and the state in implementing measures that raise awareness among founders and accompany them throughout the entire founding process – from school-based approaches and university projects to the promotion of women and social entrepreneurship.

Description
The funding program ego.-KONZEPT is aimed at legal entities under private law and public universities in Saxony-Anhalt that wish to implement projects throughout the entire start-up process with funds from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the state. Over a five-year project duration, measures for raising awareness, idea generation, as well as support during pre- and post-start-up phases are supported. Entrepreneurial skills among pupils and students are as much the focus as targeted offers for the promotion of women and social entrepreneurship. The funding is provided as a non-repayable grant with a standard funding amount of up to €800,000, which can be increased to up to €1,500,000 in exceptional cases. The funding rate is 100%. Funding priorities include personnel and material costs, travel and communication expenses, as well as teaching and consumable materials.
Innovative and sustainable initiatives that complement existing support structures and convince through quality, target group focus, degree of innovation, and long-term impact are funded. Projects should demonstrate alignment with regional framework conditions and specify both quantitative and qualitative success indicators. The Investment Bank Saxony-Anhalt selects according to uniform criteria; if the standard funding amount is exceeded, a competition based on innovation and sustainability criteria takes place. Application documents include a detailed project concept with self-assessment, financial and personnel calculations, as well as required evidence. Registration takes place following calls for competition via the customer portal of IB Saxony-Anhalt.
