Installation of Soundproof Windows in Apartments - Investment Grant

The investment grant for the installation of soundproof and thermal insulation windows in Vienna supports the renewal of windows in living and sleeping rooms adjacent to main roads of categories A and B. With a funding rate of 35% of the verified and reasonable costs, both sound insulation and thermal protection are supported. The goal is to increase living comfort by reducing traffic noise and energy losses. Interested parties are condominium owners and tenants with primary residence in Vienna whose living or sleeping rooms directly border heavily trafficked streets. A prerequisite for the disbursement of the grant is proof of residence or right of residence in Vienna, cost receipts for the soundproof and thermal insulation windows, and their reasonableness. The Municipal Department 50 (MA 50) – Housing Promotion and Conciliation Office for Housing Law Matters – processes the applications and serves as the central contact point for questions and administration.
