Integration subsidies

The integration subsidy from the Federal Employment Agency promotes the nationwide integration of job seekers and long-term unemployed individuals into the primary labor market. Employers from companies and public institutions receive a non-repayable grant amounting to up to 50% of the eligible wage and salary costs for a duration of 12 months. The objective of this measure is to reduce barriers to entering employment and to facilitate the transition into regular employment relationships. Applications can be submitted continuously at any time to the Federal Employment Agency, allowing for flexible responses to personnel needs and qualification potentials.

Only the gross wages of the employed job seekers and long-term unemployed are funded, provided the requirements of the Federal Employment Agency are met. Both employers and the funded individuals benefit from the measure: companies strengthen their competitiveness through cost-effective new hires, while employees gain entry into socially insured employment. Applications can be submitted without fixed deadlines, providing planning security.
