Description

Individual and project funding in extracurricular youth work is aimed at young people up to the age of 30, at club and association structures, at non-profit or public educational institutions, as well as at non-profit companies in Burgenland. The funding initiative aims to strengthen extracurricular educational, cultural, and engagement projects: courses, seminars, and workshops are supported as well as cultural activities, youth camps, publications, research commissions, and environmental and prevention projects in areas such as addiction prevention and sexual education. Additionally, training and further education for youth workers are financially supported to expand professional qualifications and to support young people in their personal, social, and political development.

Grants can be applied for continuously, with applications to be submitted in a timely manner before the project start or at the latest six months after the project end. Non-eligible expenses include the purchase of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, tips, interest, dunning fees, flat-rate collective invoices without specific service content, or costs that can be passed on.
