EAFRD 2023-2027: Social Services - Upper Austria

Within the framework of the EAFRD Strategy 2023–2027, the program "Social Services – Upper Austria" specifically supports investments to strengthen social infrastructure in rural areas. With a total budget of €13.23 million, the measure supports projects in accordance with the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027 that make a sustainable contribution to regional development. Public institutions, non-profit organizations, and companies can apply for grants for construction and modernization measures aimed at improving the quality and availability of care, nursing, or counseling services. The funding thus contributes to achieving the general objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy and sets impulses in the Free State of Upper Austria for vibrant, future-proof communities.

Eligible applicants are providers and operators of social services in rural Upper Austria who are committed to the further development of childcare, elderly care, disability assistance, or psychosocial facilities. The continuously open calls for proposals allow for flexible planning and timely implementation of investment projects. Financial support can be extended to various individual measures – from the construction of new buildings to the procurement of urgently needed equipment. Through the combination of EU funds and state subsidies, a decisive leverage is created to secure rural regions as attractive places to live and to ensure the participation of all generations in the long term.
