Film Fund Vienna

The Film Fund Vienna, as the city’s cultural and film funding agency, provides continuous grants for the project development, production, and exploitation of cinema and television productions in Vienna. Austrian film projects of all genres are supported, including series in the project development phase, as well as accompanying measures such as theatrical release funding and international exploitation strategies. Eligible for funding are film and media companies, start-ups, founders, and non-profit organizations with headquarters or business premises in Vienna. Applications can be submitted at any time, enabling flexible planning and prompt implementation of projects. Eligible expenses include the content development of screenplays, production costs for cinema and television films, as well as marketing and exploitation measures for successful market placement.
