Description
The funding program "Inhouse Trainings" of the Digital Academy@bw supports municipal institutions in Baden-Württemberg in the practical qualification of their employees in the field of digitalization. Inter-municipal associations consisting of at least two municipalities or municipalities together with rural or urban districts can choose demand-oriented inhouse trainings from various digitalization modules. The measures comprise up to three training days and are funded at a rate of 50%, up to a maximum of €1,700 per day. This results in a maximum funding amount of €5,100 per training project. The goal is to intensify professional exchange between municipalities, sustainably anchor digital competencies, and strengthen cooperation across administrative boundaries.
Eligible for funding are public institutions in inter-municipal cooperation that mobilize at least ten participants and participate in the program only once per municipality. A prerequisite is the conclusion of an online dissemination agreement via the service-bw portal. Own contributions are shared equally among the participating municipalities. Applications can be submitted continuously; there is no fixed deadline. Eligible expenses exclusively include fees for external training service providers. By combining individually selectable modules and flexible training formats, the program promotes not only the digital transformation of administration but also the sustainable networking of municipal actors.
