Social Housing Funding Program

In Baden-Württemberg, the Social Housing Funding Program of the city of Bretten specifically intervenes in the tight housing market to secure affordable rental housing in the long term. Through municipal subsidies for the new construction of socially subsidized rental housing with a rental and occupancy commitment of at least 25 years, private and commercial developers as well as companies and other housing market actors are financially relieved. In addition to the requirement of a rental and occupancy commitment for at least 25 years, applicants must submit the guidelines for the promotion of social rental housing as well as the New Construction Application Form (New Construction Information Sheet) and the Application Forms for Justification of Rental and Occupancy Commitments. The program is aimed at companies and private individuals who provide the subsidized housing with permanent rental and occupancy commitments.
