To promote and support Burgenland youth in the field of extracurricular youth education, in particular measures for leisure activities, the expansion of youth centers, study and educational trips, the training of youth leaders, youth music bands, traffic education, the work of the youth advisory board, as well as projects for addiction prevention.

Description
The promotion of extracurricular youth education in Burgenland is aimed at non-profit organizations and associations dedicated to the extracurricular support of young people. The focus is on creative leisure activities, the expansion and maintenance of youth centers, as well as the organization of study and educational trips. Furthermore, the program supports the training of youth leaders, the establishment and operation of youth music bands, and traffic education offerings. Special projects of the youth advisory board and measures for addiction prevention are also funded to ensure a comprehensive promotion in the areas of children and youth, education & training, as well as labor & social affairs.
As a direct funding in the form of a grant, financial resources are continuously available. Eligible for funding are interest groups, other associations, or non-profit organizations that submit a completed funding application from Burgenland youth or youth organizations. Only the standardized funding application must be submitted; additional documents are not required. Applications can be submitted at any time and have been open indefinitely since January 1, 2014. Thus, the program provides a reliable framework to implement sustainable and inclusive offerings for young people in Burgenland and to strengthen the youth sector in the long term.
