Promotion of Vocational School Student Exchange under the Franco-German Agreement

The Funding for Vocational Student Exchange under the German-French Agreement is aimed at vocational schools in Baden-Württemberg and supports the establishment and maintenance of cross-border school partnerships. A one-time grant is provided to support multi-day exchange projects that focus on strengthening German-French cultural relations in the field of vocational education. Continuous application submissions allow institutions to plan their cooperations flexibly and tailor them individually. Eligible institutions include public and private vocational school providers that initiate international encounters between trainees and teachers.

Interested vocational schools submit the fully completed application together with the form German-French Student Group Exchange for Vocational Schools. Submission is informal and not bound to fixed deadlines: applications can be submitted at any time to the responsible regional council. A formal affiliation with a vocational school in Baden-Württemberg is a prerequisite. The funding promotes not only professional skills but also the intercultural competencies of the participants. The measure contributes to building sustainable partnerships and inspiring young people for European cooperation.
