Description

The state of Burgenland supports individuals in need of care from care level 3 onwards within its own federal state through a financial subsidy for private care. Two model variants can be chosen: If the named caregiver provides their service within the framework of an employment relationship with Pflegeservice Burgenland GmbH, wage costs including all ancillary wage costs are subsidized. Alternatively, the program enables support of pension benefit amounts up to the upper limit of the salary band B1/1. The funding is continuous and can be applied for at any time by privately cared-for individuals residing in Burgenland.

A prerequisite for the grant is the submission of proof of care level, the designation of a caregiver, and—depending on the model—a valid service contract with Pflegeservice Burgenland GmbH or proof of pension benefits in case of low household income. After a positive funding approval, the payment is made directly to Pflegeservice Burgenland GmbH or to the caregiver. To ensure the quality of care, regular inspections are conducted by certified health and nursing professionals. Applications can be submitted at any time, with a timely contract signing required within four weeks after notification of the funding approval. This offer is aimed both at individuals in need of care from care level 3 onwards and at the employed caregivers, providing a valuable contribution to everyday relief and ensuring quality care in Burgenland.
