Support for the Caritas Foundation Heinz Kröly – Assistance for People with Disabilities

The Caritas Foundation Heinz Kröly continuously awards grants within the Archdiocese of Cologne for charitable projects benefiting children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities. The aim is to strengthen participation and self-determination—whether through the acquisition of therapy materials, the implementation of movement and creativity-promoting courses, or the provision of disability-appropriate furniture and fixtures. Cultural offerings are also supported, provided they have a sustainable impact and are precisely tailored to the needs of the target group. Non-profit organizations and public institutions from North Rhine-Westphalia may submit applications; the funding amount covers up to 100% of eligible expenses.

For the application, an informal PDF funding application, a detailed project description, a financing plan, as well as image material and consent declarations must be submitted. After approval, a detailed proof of use is required. The funding criteria are based on the relevance to people with disabilities, the sustainability of the measure, and the alignment with the funding purpose. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing initiatives to proceed without deadlines. The fiduciary administration and support are carried out by the Caritas Foundation in the Archdiocese of Cologne, which ensures a transparent process and prompt allocation of funds.
