Description
The CHRYSANTIL Foundation supports nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, and associations nationwide with grants for initiatives that make a holistic contribution to sustainable transformation. Projects are funded in four areas of activity: nature and natural practices, art / education / culture, international understanding / migration, as well as energy and mobility culture. The aim is to link ecological, economic, and social issues to generate momentum for climate, environmental, and social protection. On the occasion of its founding in 2022, the Foundation is particularly committed to environmentally friendly mobility, the promotion of creative educational formats, intercultural dialogue, and pioneering energy efficiency projects. Applications can be submitted at any time—without fixed deadlines, eliminating time pressure in planning innovative programs.
Eligible applicants must demonstrate that their project falls within one of the four areas of activity and pursues a clear nonprofit or social purpose. A key aspect is proof of a sustainability connection, for example through contributions to renaturation, educational equity, strengthening social cohesion, or reducing CO₂ emissions. Applications are continuously reviewed to support as many initiatives as possible that motivate people to develop and implement sustainable lifestyle models. The Foundation emphasizes collaborative partnerships and supports applicants in effectively realizing their concepts and achieving long-term impact, for instance through interdisciplinary cooperation.
