Description

The Floreat Erpilla – Margret and Gregor Noll Foundation continuously supports charitable projects in the local community of Erpel (Rhineland-Palatinate) with annual grants of up to €3,000. Funded are initiatives that correspond to the traditional purposes of the foundation’s statutes, such as voluntary engagement, local heritage preservation, traditional customs, art and culture, as well as monument conservation. Applicants may be natural or legal persons – ranging from private individuals to non-profit organizations, associations, and foundations, as well as companies, cooperatives, interest groups, and start-ups – provided the project is implemented locally. Applications can be submitted informally at any time or in writing using the official application form; a project-specific resolution by the foundation’s board decides on the allocation of funds.

Prerequisite for approval is proof of adequate own or third-party funding as well as submission of the application before the project begins. Only project costs within a duration of up to 24 months are eligible for funding. The decision is based on the following criteria: compliance with statutory purposes, availability of financial resources, and proof of own funds. The application requires the following documents: information about the applicants, a project description with objectives, proof of planned own contributions, timeline, and a detailed budget plan. The funding guidelines also regulate reporting obligations, proof of use, and public relations. Through this transparent and sustainable funding structure, the foundation makes a significant contribution to strengthening social cohesion and preserving the cultural heritage in Erpel.
