Promotion of Gender Equality and the Reconciliation of Work and Private Life

The state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania supports model projects with funds from the European Social Fund Plus that advance gender equality between women and men in the labor market and improve the compatibility of work and private life. Projects that particularly promote the professional advancement of women into leadership positions, create gender-equitable labor market conditions, and test life-phase-oriented personnel management are funded. Eligible to apply are legal entities under public and private law as well as educational institutions and associations that possess relevant project experience and gender competence. In cooperation with networks or other stakeholders, innovative approaches can be implemented and made visible more quickly.

The grants cover up to 90% of eligible expenses, and in exceptional cases even 100%. An application can be submitted at any time before the start of the project. A prerequisite is the development and implementation of the measure in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as well as the involvement of relevant partners. The basis for the application is the Guideline on the granting of subsidies to promote gender equality between women and men and the compatibility of work and private life and the corresponding application form. Through this funding offer, sponsors can realize practical model projects that make a sustainable contribution to gender equality and a better work-life balance in the state.
