Support for the Hospice Foundation Lörrach

Since its founding in 2014, the Hospice Foundation Lörrach has supported committed groups, initiatives, and individuals engaged in outpatient hospice care and palliative medicine in the Lörrach district. Through annually recurring grants, the foundation funds specific projects that enable dignified support for seriously ill and dying people as well as their relatives. The aim of the funding is to sustainably strengthen medical, nursing, and psychosocial care in the region and to further expand the network structures in hospice and palliative care. By providing financial resources, the foundation community helps to close gaps in care and implement innovative approaches in grief counseling, volunteer work, or professional training.

Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, as well as private individuals active in the fields of health, social affairs, and palliative medicine. A prerequisite for funding is proven activity in outpatient hospice and palliative care within the Lörrach district. Interested applicants complete the official application form and the funding declaration and submit both documents by post. Thanks to the possibility of submission at any time, there is no fixed deadline, allowing projects to be initiated flexibly and according to needs. The foundation sets transparent criteria in the award guidelines, and after project completion, accounting is done via the proof of use. This straightforward funding structure enables resource-efficient application and is equally aimed at small initiatives and established sponsoring organizations.
