Funding of the Jürgen Marwitz Youth Foundation

The Jürgen Marwitz Youth Foundation supports non-profit associations, interest groups, and youth organizations nationwide with grants to enable the implementation of children and youth projects in the areas of sports, culture, education and training, as well as culture & media. With the aim of providing young people with better development opportunities and strengthening community experiences, the foundation particularly funds sports facilities, youth associations such as scout groups, non-commercial music education offerings (music schools, choirs, universities), as well as training and leisure activities. By focusing on discipline, team spirit, and creative experimentation, the foundation contributes to the development of young people into self-responsible individuals.

Projects initiated by locally rooted, non-profit organizations or youth associations that place the cohesion of young participants at the center are supported. Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis, allowing initiatives to present their projects to the foundation at any time. The flexible allocation of individual and collective grants makes it possible to realize both smaller leisure activities and long-term education and training projects. Through this continuous support, it is ensured that sports, culture, and media offerings can be developed in a needs-based and sustainable manner, providing children and young people with genuine prospects.
