Description

The KORTE Foundation supports civil society initiatives, associations, public institutions, and individuals nationwide who are committed to social cohesion, democracy, as well as environmental, nature, and animal protection. Within the framework of ongoing project funding, targeted grants are awarded in the areas of youth and elderly care, education, general and vocational training, student assistance, sports, monument protection and preservation, nature conservation, landscape management, animal welfare, as well as aid for those politically, racially, or religiously persecuted and refugees. The foundation also implements its own measures for the maintenance of historic buildings, the promotion of educational offerings, and the sustainable use of natural and cultural assets. The sustainable impact of the funded projects is central: efficiency in the use of funds, long-term societal effects, and strict alignment with the foundation’s objectives are the key evaluation criteria.

Applications can be submitted at any time. A prerequisite is proof of non-profit status or an idealistic purpose, as well as a registered office in Germany or Europe. A meaningful funding request includes a project description, a cost and financing plan, and proof of non-profit status. Selection is based on alignment with the foundation’s goals, societal sustainability, and responsible budget management. The straightforward submission process without fixed deadlines allows eligible applicants flexible project planning. Interested parties can find further information and examples of previously funded projects in the “Funding & Projects” section on the KORTE Foundation’s website.
