Description

The Louise Hardt Foundation e.V. operates nationwide where young people are in particularly urgent need of support. As a recognized foundation, it promotes non-profit organizations, educational institutions, public agencies, associations, and foundations that are active in child and youth work and have no entitlement to other state aid. Projects are funded in the fields of education, social affairs, sports, culture & media, as well as vocational training – ranging from holiday programs and prevention initiatives to play and movement spaces and sports activities. Once a year, the general assembly decides on major projects, while an emergency fund available at any time enables unbureaucratic grants in urgent cases.

A prerequisite for submitting an application is the applicant's non-profit status as well as the direct intent to impact child and youth work. The application process requires submission of the completed application form, a description of the situation, current bank details, and a donation receipt. The foundation grants financial support exclusively in the form of subsidies to organizations that assess the situation on-site themselves and offer practical solutions. Through this targeted funding, the Louise Hardt Foundation e.V. creates sustainable relief and opens up new perspectives for children and young people throughout Germany.
