Description

The funding supports non-profit organizations, educational providers, foundations, as well as public institutions throughout Germany in the development and implementation of socially ethical and practice-oriented projects. Supported are scientific research works, conferences, and seminars on questions of Christian social ethics, as well as educational initiatives and social research with practical intervention character. Furthermore, funds are allocated to projects in workplace and social pastoral care, measures to combat unemployment, and international solidarity initiatives. The goal is to strengthen social cohesion, overcome exclusion, and effectively enforce the human right to work and education – always against the background of a comprehensive Christian social practice.

Eligible for funding are exclusively non-commercially oriented organizations with headquarters or impact in Germany. Financing is provided as a 100% grant and covers all eligible expenses. In the selection process, the board pays particular attention to the content alignment with the foundation’s objectives, the scientific quality of the projects, and the societal benefit. Applications can be submitted at any time, as continuous funding opportunities exist. Interested organizations are encouraged to submit their project ideas in compliance with the orientation toward Christian social ethics and social practice, thereby contributing to a solidaristic and sustainable society.
