Funding of the Harz Parsonage Foundation

The Harz Parsonage Foundation in Saxony-Anhalt supports the preservation and renovation of listed parsonages in rural areas through operational engagement and financial grants. The goal is to acquire, restore, and preserve historic church properties long-term as community centers, rental apartments, or cultural meeting places. Eligible for funding are public institutions, church and religious organizations, as well as private individuals who wish to point out parsonages in need of renovation. Both structural measures in monument protection and housing construction, as well as projects related to regional development, infrastructure, and agricultural use, are considered. Submissions are possible at any time and require, in addition to the form, a site plan or sketch of the property. This provides the foundation’s board with valuable information for the targeted allocation of grants and operational support.
