Description

The PwC Foundation supports nationwide non-profit projects and initiatives in the fields of aesthetic cultural education as well as value-oriented economic education for children and young people. As a grant provider, it supports educational institutions, public bodies, associations, and clubs committed to the holistic development of young people. Funding applications can be submitted continuously, with deadlines on March 1 and September 1 each year. Priority is given to projects in the thematic areas of children and youth, education, vocational training, culture, work & social affairs, as well as culture & media. The broad-based funding enables the implementation of creative and sustainably designed projects throughout Germany.

The foundation’s central goal is to impart orientation knowledge and systemic understanding to children and young people, to strengthen their creativity and empathy skills, and to empower them to act responsibly and autonomously. Special emphasis is placed on participatory formats and the method of inquiry-based learning, which are applied in the foundation’s own programs Wirtschafts.Forscher!, Hör.Forscher!, and Kultur.Forscher!. In addition, digital-analog laboratories (“impact spaces”) are initiated to design teaching and learning environments in a contemporary manner. Interested project sponsors can submit a project outline throughout the year and benefit from a transparent selection process that highlights innovative approaches in cultural and value-based educational work.
