Description

The PwC Foundation supports innovative projects across Germany that specifically link aesthetic cultural education in the fields of performing and visual arts, music, literature, and new media with value-oriented economic education. The funding is explicitly aimed at non-profit organizations and educational institutions dedicated to promoting children and youth in both school and extracurricular contexts. Through financial grants, a broad spectrum of initiatives is supported that creatively and participatively design the conveyance of cultural as well as economic content in an innovative manner. Preliminary inquiries are to be submitted by March 1 and September 1 respectively – funding applications should be submitted by March 15 and September 15, 2025. The Foundation accompanies the funded projects throughout the entire funding period, whereby methodological innovation and participatory learning, as well as sustainability and broad leverage effects, play a significant role.

The focus of the funding is on strengthening concepts that integrate existing structures of the education system while simultaneously providing new impulses for holistic education. Projects that emphasize the participatory opportunities for children and youth receive special attention. The initiative emphasizes that creative forms of mediation and interdisciplinary approaches significantly contribute to expanding cultural participation and reflecting individual values. With a carefully developed cost and financing plan and adherence to formal requirements, such as the complete documentation of participatory approaches, a sustainable impact is to be achieved. The PwC Foundation thus supports projects that act as catalysts for cultural and business ethics educational processes and set long-term positive impulses in the education sector.
