Funding of the Regional Foundation Oldenburg-Ammerland

The Regional Foundation Oldenburg-Ammerland offers unique financial support for non-profit organizations in Lower Saxony that wish to implement projects with high regional significance and sustainable external impact. The funding is based on the principle that innovative initiatives, which either lack sufficient resources or cannot be launched for financial reasons, are specifically supported. The foundation requires that the respective project sponsor can contribute appropriate own funds and that the project falls within the foundation’s statutory area of responsibility. By offering a pure grant, a wide range of projects from areas such as education, culture, sports, environmental/nature conservation, climate protection, children and youth, as well as research and innovation, are financially supported.

The funding measure is aimed at institutions and associations whose activities serve the common good. Through the one-time, project-related financial grant, the aim is to initiate projects with a unique regional character and high external impact. Not only creative ideas and innovative ingenuity are rewarded, but also the social added value and commitment to the cultural values of the Oldenburg region are emphasized. The projects to be funded must benefit a clearly defined target group or a broad segment of the population. Decisive evaluation criteria, in addition to the degree of innovation, include sustainable impact, the exemplary function of the project, as well as its contribution to social responsibility and civic engagement.

Applications can be submitted continuously and at any time, with all required documents such as the funding application, financing plan, project description, tax exemption certificate, and a declaration that the measure has not yet commenced, to be submitted. The foundation places special emphasis on a detailed presentation of the project as well as proof of the planned total financing. This transparent application process is intended to ensure that funded projects can be optimally evaluated and purposefully implemented.
