Funding of the Rose Foundation (Project Support in the Lübeck Area)

The Rose Foundation continuously supports non-profit initiatives in the Lübeck city area and southern Lübeck with financial grants. Projects from the fields of nature conservation and landscape management, local heritage and local history, arts and culture, as well as youth and elderly care up to health-related sports are specifically funded. The prerequisite is the use of the official form, which must be submitted together with proof of non-profit status, a detailed cost breakdown, and information on overall financing. Particular evaluation criteria include the regional relevance of the project, alignment with the foundation’s objectives, and the sustainability of the planned measures.

The selection process begins with a review by the foundation’s board, which assesses the applications in regular meetings for their suitability with the foundation’s goals. Upon a positive decision, the funding commitment is issued in writing; for larger grant amounts, this may be preceded by a personal introductory meeting on site. To receive the funds, timely submission of the donation receipt, accounting, and final report is mandatory.
