Description

The RuBi Foundation – Help for Children and Animals in Need continuously awards financial and non-material grants nationwide to support disadvantaged children and adolescents as well as charitable animal welfare projects. Funding is provided, among other things, for educational, vocational, and further training programs, sports activities, as well as counseling and prevention measures for young people in distress or after experiences of violence. The foundation also supports the coverage of costs for medical and therapeutic treatments, provided no other cost bearer is responsible. In the animal welfare sector, funds are allocated to charitable associations and sanctuaries to finance necessary veterinary treatments, feed, and educational protection projects in kindergartens and schools. Applications can be submitted at any time and are granted as one-time or ongoing payments.

Eligible for funding are both charitable organizations and private individuals who can provide proof of need or charitable status. Key evaluation criteria include the urgency of the assistance, the concept and quality of the planned measures, as well as the demonstrated impact in favor of children, adolescents, or animals in need. Eligible expenses include, for example, project and equipment costs, counseling services, teaching and learning materials, as well as veterinary treatments and feed. Through the targeted awarding of grants, the foundation contributes to improving educational opportunities, strengthening social participation, and alleviating the suffering of animals in distress. Interested applicants can find all necessary information on the foundation’s website and may submit their funding application flexibly.
