Funding of the Aktion Hilfe für Kinder Foundation

The Aktion Hilfe für Kinder Foundation continuously supports projects as well as individual aid measures for children and adolescents with disabilities or from socially disadvantaged families in Bremen. Private individuals, non-profit organizations, and public institutions can apply for a grant at any time. The focus is on initiatives in the fields of child and youth welfare, health, education, vocational training, and work & social affairs. With the aim of strengthening participation and social integration, the foundation supports both innovative action projects and tailored individual assistance. In particular, measures that provide children and adolescents access to therapeutic services, physical activity promotion, or educational opportunities are funded, thereby enhancing their self-determination and quality of life.

A prerequisite for funding is the submission of a meaningful project proposal to the Aktion Hilfe für Kinder Foundation as well as the implementation of the project in Bremen. Only projects within the field of child and youth welfare that generate sustainable added value for the participants are supported. A special emphasis is placed on inclusive concepts that consciously value diversity and place all participants at the center. Thanks to the flexible funding structure, initiators can respond spontaneously to urgent needs and receive financial support promptly. In this way, the foundation contributes to promoting equal opportunities and opening up new perspectives for young people in difficult life situations.
