Description
The BISS Foundation continuously provides grants to non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and also private individuals in Bavaria to support disadvantaged young adults, adolescents, refugees, and homeless persons in welfare care, education, vocational training, and social integration. The focus is on projects and measures that enable tailored support—whether through language and vocational training programs or targeted assistance in securing affordable housing. In addition, the BISS Foundation also promotes international educational projects, such as the establishment of a free school with an integrated bakery in the Republic of Congo. In doing so, it contributes to the sustainable improvement of opportunities for all participants and makes a significant contribution to social inclusion.
Funded are initiatives with a clear integration or housing creation component that demonstrably serve charitable or benevolent purposes and are dedicated to the education or qualification of people facing social difficulties. Proof of non-profit or benevolent status as well as a detailed project description are prerequisites for application. Applications can be submitted at any time, as the BISS Foundation continuously decides on its funding budget. Sponsorship, agreed objectives, and budgets are transparently reviewed to ensure efficient use of funds. Committed initiatives thus benefit from a reliable partnership that sustainably strengthens young people in challenging life situations and paves their way to an independent life.
