Funding of the Focke Museum Foundation (Association of Friends of the Focke Museum e.V.)

The Association of Friends of the Focke Museum e.V. supports the Bremen State Museum as a sponsorship initiative in the central areas of museum work: collecting, preserving, researching, and communicating. In addition, exhibition projects are supported, public relations are promoted, and admission and guided tour fees for school classes from Bremen and the surrounding area are covered. Thanks to ongoing funding opportunities, both individuals and companies can continuously contribute to strengthening the cultural offerings. As a long-standing partner with over 3,000 memberships, the association makes a significant contribution to the research and communication of regional cultural history and enables unhindered access to museum educational programs by financially relieving educational institutions.

Eligible for funding are private individuals and companies who become members of the Association of Friends of the Focke Museum e.V. and pay the annual membership fee. The contribution starts at 45 euros for individual memberships and increases depending on the category up to lifetime memberships. The completed membership form is sufficient as proof and can be submitted at any time, as applications are processed without a fixed deadline. Interested organizations and private individuals benefit from free or reduced admission to permanent and special exhibitions, exclusive event invitations, and regular insights into the museum’s work. Through this support, outstanding exhibition and research projects as well as access for school classes are sustainably secured, thereby strengthening education and cultural communication in Bremen.
