Funding of the Lebenshilfe Lüdenscheid Foundation

The Lebenshilfe Lüdenscheid Foundation promotes effective projects in North Rhine-Westphalia that benefit people with physical, intellectual, or emotional support needs at all stages of life. As a non-profit organization, it grants one-time or ongoing subsidies to tax-privileged organizations, public institutions, and private individuals for advisory, infrastructural, and social measures. Funding is provided, among other things, for therapeutic and educational services, conversion and equipment measures, assistance and participation projects, rehabilitation sports, supported communication, as well as leisure and housing forms. Inclusion, participation, and social cohesion are central to realizing effective support in special life situations. The foundation also supports initiatives for democracy education and strengthens engagement for inclusive urban development.

Interested recipients, such as non-profit services of Lebenshilfe Lüdenscheid–Märkischer Kreis, family support services, early intervention centers, or independent initiatives, may submit applications at any time. Selection is made in accordance with the statutes and the principles of good foundation practice, ensuring transparency and sustainability. The goal is to expand the scope of action of projects through needs-based grants and to promote equal opportunities. In addition to financial support, applicants receive guidance on the use of funds and benefit from a network of experts and long-standing experience. In doing so, the foundation makes a significant contribution to the quality of life and participation of people with support needs in the Märkischer Kreis and beyond.
