Description

The Music Youth Foundation Trier-Land specifically supports the musical youth work in clubs and groups within the Trier-Land collective municipality. With an annual grant of up to €500, projects are primarily funded that strengthen the musical education and commitment of children and young people in schools, bands, ensembles, or other deserving music initiatives. Furthermore, the funding serves group cohesion-promoting measures as well as participation in cross-border events with neighboring municipalities and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Club festivals and rehearsal weekends of the overall club are excluded.

Applicant institutions must submit their documents by December 1 of the year in which the funded measure took place. Required are a brief description of the project, a detailed cost breakdown, and original receipts for payment. The foundation covers uncovered expenses up to a maximum of €500 and, upon request, pays half of the participation fees for D-courses. A decision on the application amount is made by the foundation board within the framework of the available funds. Although there is no legal entitlement to approval, this funding program offers a valuable opportunity to effectively support musical activities of youth ensembles and jointly strengthen the cultural diversity in the region.
