Description

The Dr. Winkler Foundation for the Promotion of Young Talents supports non-profit organizations, interest groups, and associations based in the Tuttlingen region that are committed to children and young people in socially challenging life situations. The aim of the funding is to improve educational and care services through the provision of financial and material resources. Training and further education measures are as much a focus as projects aimed at alleviating acute social distress. Applications can be submitted continuously and throughout the year, ensuring flexible project planning and prompt assistance. A recognized non-profit status and a regional connection to the Tuttlingen area are required.

Expenditures are funded in the form of grants, which are awarded annually with a volume of more than €25,000. The funding areas include child and youth welfare, social affairs, education, regional development, work & social affairs, training & further education, as well as agriculture and rural development. Through transparent allocation of funds, the foundation offers committed organizations the opportunity to build sustainable services and strengthen real-life perspectives. Interested associations and non-profit projects thus receive financial start-up assistance to enable disadvantaged young people to participate fairly and to expand their social scope of action in the long term.
