Description

The Vector Foundation supports non-profit organizations and public law entities based in the Stuttgart region with 100% grants for projects lasting up to 36 months. Eligible are initiatives that combat homelessness, integrate disadvantaged young adults into education and society, or enable digital participation. Furthermore, innovative learning and meeting places are piloted, and measures to strengthen the mental health of socially disadvantaged individuals are funded. Applications can be submitted at any time, provided that non-profit status is confirmed by the tax office and the location is within the Stuttgart region. Personnel costs, material and administrative expenses, overhead costs, as well as travel expenses are eligible for funding. Excluded are projects outside the funding priorities, individual assistance for private persons, permanently established measures, international projects, and construction investments.

The focus is on a thorough environmental analysis that clearly defines target groups and quantifiable or qualitatively measurable impact goals. Required alongside the certificate of non-profit status are a detailed project description and a financing plan that shows full cost accounting and any own funds. This transparent procedure gives applicants the opportunity to implement innovative pilot projects with model character and directly contribute to improving the living conditions of socially disadvantaged people in Baden-Württemberg. Insights gained prospectively feed into proven concepts for sustainable participation – from facilitating individual rental contracts to promoting digital skills. In this way, the funding strengthens community, equal opportunities, and individual resilience in the region in the long term.
