The funding program of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice is aimed at legal entities under public and private law that wish to implement crime prevention pilot and model projects in the areas of social affairs, health, as well as labor & social affairs. The goal is the further development of municipal comprehensive strategies for crime prevention in Lower Saxony. Innovative approaches are particularly supported when they contribute to the early prevention of criminal behavior and the strengthening of existing prevention structures. Sponsors such as municipalities, public institutions, associations, or clubs can use this support to sustainably anchor their projects and disseminate best practices in exchange with local stakeholders.
The funding amount covers up to 70% of eligible expenses, but no more than €20,000 per calendar year for a project duration of up to 24 months.
