Description

The Nikolaus Max Foundation provides financial support to private individuals throughout Germany for educational measures that they cannot or can only partially finance from their own resources. In particular, professional further education, advanced training, retraining, general adult education, and language education are promoted. The funding is provided as partial cost coverage, financing of work materials, or in the form of scholarships. The aim is to enable people with limited resources to access qualifying offers and thus strengthen equal opportunities in the labor market. Funded projects are evaluated based on their suitability, with demonstrated need being the essential decision factor.

An application can be submitted in writing at any time. For this purpose, the fully completed application form and a data protection declaration (EU GDPR) are required. Additionally, proof of costs and evidence of financial need must be provided. The Foundation reviews the submitted documents in accordance with the foundation's legal guidelines and informs about the type and amount of the grant. There is no legal entitlement to funding; however, applicants are supported in an unbureaucratic manner. The Nikolaus Max Foundation thus contributes to the financial relief of individuals who cannot sufficiently rely on third parties and promotes sustainable learning and qualification opportunities.
