Description
The Vienna Addiction and Drug Coordination Non-Profit GmbH grants subsidies to non-profit organizations and enterprises based in Vienna to support facilities dedicated to the prevention, counseling, treatment, and care of individuals addicted to or at risk of addiction. Both ongoing operational and investment costs are funded, provided that the projects comply with the currently valid Vienna Addiction Concept. The focus is on measures to prevent addiction disorders, ensure professional support services, and promote the social and occupational reintegration of affected individuals. Funding requires positive recognition as an addiction support facility and is aimed at providers treating both substance-related and non-substance-related dependencies.
Informal applications can be submitted at any time; granted recognition remains valid for five years and is renewable. Applicants must submit a detailed substantive concept, describe their organizational structure and staffing, and demonstrate their financial capability through a financing plan. Attachments and evidence must comply with the funding guidelines of the SDW. Evaluation is based on conformity with the Vienna Addiction Concept, quality of the services offered, and financial solidity. Recognized facilities commit to standardized documentation, annual performance reports, and annual financial statements. The use of funds must be economical, efficient, and purpose-bound. Through this continuous support, sustainable structures in Vienna’s addiction support system are strengthened, thereby promoting the long-term quality of life and safety of the population.
