The Zeidler Research Foundation continuously supports outstanding research and cooperation projects in Bavaria in the natural and engineering sciences as well as in the fields of education, health, and nature conservation. With a consistent focus on innovation and quality, projects are supported that would not be realized or would be significantly delayed without the Foundation’s financial involvement. Interdisciplinary approaches and collaborations with research institutions are particularly valued, with small and medium-sized enterprises in the Waldkraiburg region being involved as valuable partners. Interested applicants initially submit a project outline before submitting a detailed funding application. Funding is provided as an unlimited grant and offers a reliable basis for long-term development and pilot studies.
Eligible for funding are educational institutions, companies, and non-profit organizations that wish to advance innovative concepts together with scientific partners. Evaluation criteria include, among others, the degree of innovation of the research project, the benefits for environmental and climate protection, as well as the contribution to regional development in Waldkraiburg.
