Support for Institutions in the Generational Sector (Families and Seniors)

The funding of institutions in the generational sector in Tyrol is aimed at non-profit enterprises, cooperatives, associations, and public institutions that implement family-supportive, senior-promoting, and intergenerational projects. The goal is to develop appropriate educational, advisory, and other measures in the fields of family and senior policy, as well as to advance digitalization projects in the context of family and aging. Both personnel expenses and material costs are supported with a non-repayable grant, whereby the project period covers one calendar year and applications must be submitted electronically before the start of the project. Continuous application submission is possible from 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2027, with additional project-related requirements potentially stipulated in the funding agreement. The funding promotes sustainable offerings that are non-profit-oriented and serve the interests of generational work in Tyrol.

Detailed documents must be attached to the application, including a comprehensive description of the funding subject, a cost calculation including a financing plan for the project and for the entire year of the funding institution, as well as information on already applied for or granted funding. For first-time applications, an extract from the commercial register or association register, or the association statutes, must be submitted. Payment is made after the conclusion of a written funding agreement that specifies the type and amount of costs. This funding establishes tailored offerings to strengthen intergenerational cooperation in Tyrol and specifically supports forward-looking digitalization steps in family and senior work.
