Description
The guideline Promotion of Quality Improvements in Gastronomy Businesses of the State of Vorarlberg aims to sustainably modernize commercial gastronomy establishments and strengthen their competitiveness. Eligible for funding are small enterprises (fewer than 50 employees, annual turnover or balance sheet total ≤ €10 million) that belong to the Tourism and Leisure Industry division of the Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce and whose place of business is located in Vorarlberg. A prerequisite is that at least two of the defined quality criteria are met. The one-time grant amounts to 10% of the eligible investment costs, with a minimum of €25,000 and a maximum of €250,000, resulting in a maximum grant amount of €25,000. Applications can be submitted continuously; a formal commitment requires the submission of all documents within one month after the funding approval.
Eligible expenses include modernization and quality improvement measures, barrier-free conversions and renovations, optimizations of kitchen and sanitary equipment, installation of gastronomically used outdoor facilities, child-friendly amenities, investments in energy savings, as well as fire protection measures. The acquisition of land, purchase of vehicles, used capital goods, and operating resources are not supported. For the funding application, a detailed project and company description, a cost breakdown, a credit assessment in case of external financing, balance sheet analyses of the last three financial years, a business profitability calculation, as well as a company register extract or trade license must be submitted. Payment is made after positive final accounting and proof of appropriate use of funds.
