Description
The State of Salzburg annually grants a subsidy to support summer holiday care programs in the Salzburg region. This program aims to improve the compatibility of family and work life and to relieve guardians through qualified summer holiday care. Projects by social organizations and providers that create innovative care structures for children and youth are funded. This includes municipalities and non-profit associations as well as private institutions and public facilities that implement holiday programs in the state of Salzburg. The funding is non-profit oriented and is based on the binding guidelines of the State of Salzburg for summer holiday care as well as the General Funding Guidelines.
Eligible organizations can submit their applications by no later than June 30 of each year. In addition to compliance with the funding guidelines, the prerequisite is that the project does not pursue profit-making objectives. For the application, the fully completed application form (GAF), the general funding request, accounting documents, and a proof of use must be submitted. The disbursement of the approved funds takes place after project completion and submission of all evidence. The funding program offers a continuous opportunity to support providers in the field of child and youth care and makes a sustainable contribution to strengthening family-friendly structures in the State of Salzburg.
