Funding of summer holiday care programs in the state of Salzburg

The state of Salzburg supports the implementation of summer holiday care programs in the state of Salzburg through a targeted grant model. The aim of this funding is to sustainably improve the compatibility of family and work by providing school-age children with qualified care structures during the summer holidays. Public institutions as well as non-profit organizations can submit applications for projects to be realized in the state of Salzburg. Funding is provided continuously, with payment made after the completion of the measure and submission of the accounting documents by no later than December 31 of the respective year. With this funding, the state makes an important contribution to relieving families and supports age-appropriate, pedagogically sound holiday care by experienced educators and caregivers.

Projects that comply with the legal guidelines of the state and take place in the state of Salzburg are eligible for funding. A prerequisite for the grant is the timely submission of the application in accordance with the special guidelines as well as the complete accounting by the end of the year. Required application documents include the completed application form according to the special guidelines and the final accounting documents. The funding ensures the availability of diverse holiday programs and makes an important contribution to a family-friendly summer.
