Description
This funding program supports rescue and emergency organizations as well as associations based in Carinthia in strengthening disaster protection through grants for training measures, performance competitions, equipment, and gear. The goal is the sustainable prevention and efficient management of disaster situations. Participants benefit from financial resources to complete necessary training, procure technical devices and protective clothing, or organize performance competitions that contribute to the continuous improvement and networking of emergency personnel. The financial support makes a significant contribution to increasing operational readiness and safety in the event of a disaster.
A prerequisite for a successful application is a written request including a subsidy declaration as well as a detailed financing plan. A positive funding approval by the responsible political representative forms the final basis for authorization. Original invoices along with payment confirmations must be submitted as proof of use after the completion of the measures. The application deadline has been open-ended since 01.01.2014, allowing grants to be applied for continuously.
