In the federal state of Burgenland, non-profit women's counseling centers receive financial support in the areas of social affairs, women's advancement, counseling, as well as labor and social issues. Funding may only be used for the proposed project; for larger projects, disbursement in partial amounts is possible. Immediate notification of all project-relevant changes to the Department of Women, Anti-Discrimination, and Equal Treatment is mandatory. The target group includes women in Burgenland who wish to access psychosocial, legal, or labor market-related counseling. For the application, the funding request of the Department of Women, Anti-Discrimination, and Equal Treatment must be submitted. Since December 18, 2013, applications can be submitted continuously as there is no deadline. To monitor the use of funds, document audits and occasional on-site inspections may be conducted.
