Description

The funding contributions from the state of Carinthia support institutions operating in Carinthia in ensuring and improving animal health. Public institutions and non-profit organizations receive a grant to partially finance the ongoing operations of the TG-K (Animal Health Carinthia) office as well as to combat animal health problem areas within the state. The goal is the sustainable strengthening of the veterinary infrastructure through financial relief in operating and personnel costs. Member organizations of the TG-K include the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry, the Carinthian Veterinary Chamber, and the Office of the Carinthian State Government. The funding is provided continuously and aims to secure smooth business operations as well as preventive and acute measures against animal health risks.

For the application, submission of a detailed income-expenditure statement as well as a budget plan for the current fiscal year is required. Only documented expenses for operational activities and personnel are eligible for funding. Allocation of funds is based on the General Guidelines for Grants from State Funds, with continuous review of the financial reporting as a prerequisite. Administration and coordination are handled by the Office of the Carinthian State Government, Department 10 – Agriculture and Forestry, Rural Areas, which also coordinates nationally and EU-funded programs. Interested institutions may submit the necessary documents to benefit from the financial support and thereby contribute to animal health throughout Carinthia.
