The shareholder grant for BABEG Kärntner Betriebsansiedlungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. is specifically aimed at increasing the research, technology, and innovation intensity (RTI intensity) in the Austrian corporate sector. With a total volume of €0.98 million, the State of Carinthia supports thematic and project-related initiatives of BABEG in the field of Research & Innovation during the period from August 30, 2023, to June 30, 2026. As a public participation partner based on an agreement pursuant to Art. 15a B-VG, the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Technology, together with the State of Carinthia, makes a significant contribution to strengthening regional innovation capacity. The grant makes it possible to further advance pioneering technological developments in Carinthia and sustainably increase the competitiveness of domestic companies.
As the sole eligible recipient, BABEG benefits from this facility once the corresponding shareholder resolutions are in place. The funding prerequisite includes the submission of these resolutions as part of the application process, which is possible from August 30, 2023, until the deadline on June 30, 2026. Targeted project proposals can enhance the effectiveness of domestic research funding and make a tangible contribution to innovation dynamics.
