Funding objective
The aim of this funding is to enable children in need of care and support to remain in their familiar environment for as long as possible and to provide financial assistance to those affected in this situation. The necessary services are provided by mobile care and support service providers, with the costs – minus a deductible – covered by the State of Tyrol.

- Primary residence in Tyrol
- Receipt of care allowance according to the Federal Care Allowance Act levels 1–7 or application for care allowance
- Medical report confirming the need for care or supervision and consent of the provider of mobile care and supervision services

Description
This funding initiative supports mobile care and support services for children and adolescents in need of care and supervision in the state of Tyrol. It is aimed at private individuals with their main residence in Tyrol who receive or have applied for care allowance (levels 1–7) or can provide a medical certificate confirming the need for care or supervision. The funding is provided as a grant and ensures that the necessary services are delivered by providers of mobile care and support services. After deducting a personal contribution, the state of Tyrol covers the remaining costs to enable the longest possible stay in the familiar environment and to reduce the financial burden on families.
Medical home nursing, specialized home nursing for children and adolescents, as well as organizational and advisory services are funded. A prerequisite is Austrian citizenship or an equivalent status according to the Tyrolean Home and Care Services Act. Applications can be submitted at any time and are valid indefinitely (start date: 01.01.2011). Required documents for submission include, among others: full name, insurance number, date of birth, proof of citizenship, residential address with postal code and district, information on family and income situation, care allowance level, and a medical letter if care allowance approval is missing. This transparent and permanently available funding strengthens the quality of care and promotes family-oriented support in the home environment.
