Startup Consulting for the Period 1/1/2026 – 12/31/2026

The start-up consulting for the period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as prospective founders in Upper Austria in the professional preparation of their business start-up. Funding is provided for external consulting costs in the areas of legal and business management issues as well as personality-related support. A prerequisite is membership in the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce or admission during the funding period, as well as verifiable consulting needs related to the business start-up. Consulting can begin immediately after the project start from January 1, 2026, and is designed for a duration of up to twelve months.

The support is provided in the form of a non-repayable grant (De minimis aid) for external consulting costs. SMEs that meet all funding requirements may submit applications during the funding period. Eligible expenses include fees for qualified experts who support founders in legal, business management, and personality-related aspects. The aim is to impart the necessary expertise and confidence for sustainable business management. Applicants are encouraged to compile all required documentation, especially proof of consulting needs and Chamber of Commerce membership, before submission. Applications may be submitted between January 1 and December 31, 2026. The Upper Austrian state government thus promotes a solid foundation for innovative business start-ups and strengthens the economic location of Upper Austria in the long term.
