Description

The funding program Human Potential in the Vienna region targets companies, non-profit organizations, and private individuals, offering direct grants in the fields of Education & Training, Digitalization, Research & Innovation, Promotion of Women, as well as Work & Social Affairs. The goal is to strengthen qualification measures for the Green & Digital Transition while simultaneously increasing the visibility of women in research and innovation processes. Within the framework of two focal areas – the open-topic Qualification Initiative and the Innovators module – professionals and innovators are sustainably supported through practical training formats, competency profile development, and cooperative pilot projects between science and industry. Applications must be submitted electronically via the FFG eCall portal from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2026.

Eligible for funding are natural and legal persons as well as non-profit organizations with a place of business or branch in Austria. Consortium projects are accepted provided that at least one partner is based in Austria and the benefits of foreign partners are transparently demonstrated. A prerequisite for the grant is proof of financial security through a detailed cost, time, and financing plan, as well as economic viability without ongoing insolvency proceedings. Civil law partnerships are excluded due to lack of application legitimacy. Funded projects contribute to the sustainable increase of innovation capacity and economic performance and promote equal opportunities as well as interdisciplinary cooperation in research and industry.
