Description
The infrastructure funding in Burgenland supports non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, as well as companies in the establishment and expansion of inpatient and semi-inpatient care facilities for elderly, disabled, and dementia-affected individuals. The goal is to sustainably improve the quality and quantity of care by creating additional places for short-term, transitional, and respite care. With total funding of 19.5 million euros, the state of Burgenland makes a substantial contribution to meeting the increasing demand for care due to demographic changes and simultaneously promotes an increase in employment rates in the nursing and social sectors.
Eligible applicants are non-profit organizations, local authorities, public law corporations, as well as consortia of these groups, provided they are active in senior work, nursing and care services, disability work, or dementia care. Projects that clearly contribute to the creation of additional care places and represent a significant step towards labor market integration or the improvement of employability are supported. Funding applications can be submitted during the funding period from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2030. Allocation is made as a direct grant based on an individual decision by the state of Burgenland. Through targeted support, not only is the regional care landscape strengthened, but a sustainable stimulus for local labor markets is also created.
