Integration Projects; Application for Funding in the Field of Value Education

The funding program of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, for Sport and Integration supports legally capable entities based in Bavaria such as non-profit organizations, companies, cooperatives, foundations, public institutions, interest groups, or other associations in the development and implementation of projects aimed at imparting values to immigrants. The goal is to strengthen democratic fundamental values, equality, and tolerance, as well as to promote intercultural encounters in order to consolidate social cohesion. Both theoretical knowledge about our legal and value system and practical assistance for everyday life and participation are conveyed. The projects target immigrants who are to be accompanied on their integration path and familiarized with cultural background knowledge as well as opportunities for active participation in society.

The funding is provided as a grant covering up to 90% of eligible expenses, with a minimum co-financing contribution of 10% by the project sponsor. Eligible costs include personnel expenses, material costs, childcare expenses, and overhead costs within the scope of the funding purpose. A prerequisite for approval is the reliability and performance capability of the applicant as well as proven prior activity in the field of value impartation. Submissions are possible at any time; required documents include the application for granting a subsidy, a meaningful project concept, and a detailed expenditure and financing plan. Project funding is granted within the framework of available budgetary resources without any legal entitlement and contributes to facilitating access for immigrants to democratic participation and social diversity.
